I was given the honor to order an Edward Scissorhands costume, which came with dress, sleeve, gloves, wig, choker, and belt. I am always quite nervous to order costumes because I am nervous it would fit properly. Well to my surprise it did fit right and I seriously loved it. Now I'm not a major make-up artist but I'd like to believe that I did good on this.
Throughout the night I had nothing but compliments. I am a huge Edward Scissorhands fanatic, I love the movie and could watching it on repeat. So of course choosing a costume was pretty simple. Now the make-up I won't like took me over an hour. I had a few stops a long the way also, but all in all I think it came out great. Immediately I sent a photo to my mom and she didn't even realize that was me. HA!! The way I did my makeup made my face thinner.
Seriously, BuyCostume is an amazing website and I will most definitely be getting another costume from them next year. I have so many ideas in my head on what I want to be already. Yes I know Halloween just passed but it doesn't hurt to plan ahead. LOL! I am actually looking through the site on my phone as I'm typing this. I would love to have my entire family matching next year, so I have lots to plan. I highly recommend giving BuyCostume a try they have some pretty amazing goodies!

DeleteWow!! So many people are getting more crafty with makeup. I'm not sure I could ever try it! I can't wait to dress up when my child gets a little older. For now, it's just being mommy and taking her trick or treating. :) Your costume looks great!
ReplyDeleteAwww thanks Kerry, I did the same with my daughter her first few years of trick or treating. I would do my face but not dress up. She's now 5 and absolutely loved that I dressed up with her. :)
